Gr 3-5-In this 37th installment of Thea Stilton's adventures, the Thea sisters, Colette, Paulina, Violet, Nicky, and Pamela meet in Ireland where they head off on a biking tour of the island. Along the way, they meet cousins Tara and Neal. As they travel around Ireland, a series of strange events keep them on their toes, and when the Thea sisters decide to help their new friend Tara open up her inn for bicycle tourists, the strange events continue. When they hear about the mysterious Ghost of the Woods that supposedly causes havoc for anyone new to the area, the sisters start to worry the legend could be true. The Stilton books' signature full-color comic-style illustrations and illuminated words throughout are sure to keep young readers engaged as they learn facts about Ireland and try to solve the central mystery at the same time. VERDICT Purchase where the other titles in the series circulate well.
