Diego is tough, but is he desert tough?

Eleven-year-old Diego starts over every couple of years thanks to his dad, a US Marine. His dad's newest assignment brings the family to Twentynine Palms, a remote base in the California high desert. With Radar, the family's loyal dog, by his side, Diego must adapt to this new environment. Just when he least expects it, the unthinkable happens and Diego is faced with life and death. Will he have the courage to step up? Like all military kids, there is no question Diego is tough, but will that be enough?
