Senator William E. Jenner was U.S. Senator from Indiana 1947-1958. His strong stands for fiscal responsibility and against coddling international tyrants are strong issues today. He led the Republican party in Indiana in a time of smoke filled rooms and shenanigans and was probably the most popular state politician of the century.
